A 10-Week Invitation

Ahmaud Arbery.
Breonna Taylor.
George Floyd.
People of color whose names are on the tips of our tongues after dying at the hands of public safety officers and vigilantes in recent weeks.
As grief consumes and cities pulse with pain and passion, the Church is called to respond, reflecting the life and ministry of Jesus Christ: repenting, accompanying, challenging, bearing, and building.
In the fall, we will begin an intentional study on anti-racism, doing the hard and slow work of looking inward. This summer, you are invited to prepare by joining our listen/watch/read campaign, exposing yourself to different voices through different mediums as they guide us through a conversations about implicit bias, racial prejudice, systemic racism and white privilege/supremacy. The list of resources is available online and reminders will be posted to social media.
Join the group in Realm to participate in discussion around each week’s offerings.
