CHRISTMAS AND ADVENT

The Season of Advent

WEDNESDAYS AT NOON - DEC. 6, 13, 20
12:00 p.m. Worship Service
12:30 p.m. Lunch
($8)

Each week during Advent, a noontime service is held in the Trippeer Chapel. Members share meaningful holiday stories, which join with the worship and prayer to help us prepare for the coming of the Christ Child. The services are followed by a light lunch ($8) at 12:30. It’s a peaceful break in the midst of the hectic pace. All are welcome!

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL BOOKLET & ACTIVITY CALENDAR

Advent devotional booklets and activity calendars will be available beginning November 26. (The First Sunday of Advent is December 3.) The booklets are designed to enrich your experience of the Advent season with daily devotions written by members of the congregation. We hope you will find them meaningful and share them with your friends. The calendar has an activity each day leading to the Nativity of Jesus Christ.

Idlewild invites you to gather with us as we celebrate the Nativity of the Christ Child with three joyous services on Christmas Eve. All three services are held in our beautiful Sanctuary, alight with candles, surrounded by stained glass windows, and filled with happy voices.
