  • Regular Wednesday evening rehearsals resumed on August 23rd and are from 7:00-9:00PM, with sectionals from 6:15-6:45 (sectional schedule below). As we are still in Summer Choir for the time being, Sunday's call time is still 10:00AM in the choir room (2nd floor of Sanctuary Bldg.), seated, with music.

Important Fall Dates

  • Saturday AM, October 28th, 10:30  -NOON- Dress Rehearsal (with instruments) - Bach's "Ein feste Burg"
  • Sunday, October 29th, 'Reformation Day', 11:00AM Service - Bach's Cantata 80 (A Mighty Fortress is Our God) - This year marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.  On Reformation Day, October 29th, we will be presenting J. S. Bach's Cantata 80, "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott" ("A Mighty Fortress is Our God").  This cantata is based on the hymn that we all know and love.  The opening choral fantasia is though to be Bach's most brilliant choral movement among all of his cantatas.  Rehearsal with instrumentalists will be the morning before on Saturday, October 28th.
  • Saturday AM, December 23rd - Dress Rehearsal for Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols
  • Sunday, December 24th, 5:00PM - CHRISTMAS EVE, Lessons and Carols

Important Spring Dates

  • Wednesday, February 14th - ASH WEDNESDAY - NO REHEARSAL after service.
  • Thursday, March 29th - MAUNDY THURSDAY - Stay after evening service for rehearsal.
  • Friday, March 30th - GOOD FRIDAY - Stay after evening service for rehearsal.
  • Saturday AM, March 31st - Dress Rehearsal for Easter Sunday with Brass and Timpani
  • Sunday, April 1st - EASTER SUNDAY - FULL CHOIR AT 8:30 AND 11:00 SERVICES
  • Sunday, April 22nd, 11:00 Service, Earth Day - This Earth Day, we will be presenting several special musical elements during the service.  Much of it will be drawn from Paul Winter's "Missa Gaia" ("Earth mass").
